Melanie and the Littles
About Melanie & The Littles

Melanie Little has been writing songs and playing music from a young age. She recorded a self-titled EP of original songs in 1996. Included on this EP is How Many Times, a song written for Sydney teenager Anna Wood who died after taking ecstasy in 1995.

The inclusion of The Littles came as a natural progression for Cody and Rhiannon Little who have grown up around music and now share Melanie's passion for performing and songwriting.

The band have been doing live spots at venues around Tamworth and hope to be performing their own gigs in the very near future!

Melanie & The Littles consists of: Melanie Little on Main Vocals / Acoustic Guitar, Rhiannon Little on Bass / Vocals and Cody Little on Harmonica /  Bongo / Percussion

The Littles have a varied taste in music which reflects in the different styles of music they play. With country influences such Iris Dement & John Denver to the blues and jazz of Eva Cassidy. Add in the rock'n roll of Bill Haley and the modern pop of Eagle-eye Cherry and you get a pretty comfortable mix of music covering many era's! Some of Melanie's early songwriting influences were Melissa Etheridge, Billy Joel and Sinead O'Connor.
