A true country lady Kelsey was born on March twenty- fifth nineteen ninety-one, she lives in the New England Ranges a short distance from the township of Glen Innes in New South Wales.
Kelsey found an interest in singing at the age of five years and started singing with her sister Stacy. The next couple of years also saw her learn the guitar which she still plays today.
At the age of seven Kelsey and Stacy entered the Kids Coca Cola Competition at the Tamworth Country Music Festival and came second. The following years saw the duo become regulars at the Tamworth Country Music Festival and the Australian Celtic Festival in their home town of Glen Innes, they also could be found doing private functions and parties in their local area.
It’s now two thousand and seven and Kelsey has become a solo singer/ songwriter who this time hit the streets and venues of the Tamworth Festival without her sister by her side. Her unique voice, charm and hypnotizing smile combined together to gather listeners where ever she played. While still being limited to a small number of original songs her fans often called for her to repeat her original tunes.
When asked about what she enjoys most in life she said country living and horses, as far as who has inspired her the most in singing she said their was not any one act that she could say has inspired her more than another however Casey Chambers is one of her favourite entertainers.
